Personal Statement: There are complexities and there are complexities. People think the things that seem complex, are. But nothing - not having anything - is really the biggest complexity of all. Nothing is harder than something. Painters can't be painters and paint nothing. Same goes for writers, composers, everybody. You have nothing, you don't even exist. If I compose and I compose nothing, no one can play it, right? Right. So that means the more I write, the further away from nothing I get. That means the most complex things in the world are really - the easiest.
